FIU Notes: Junior eligible who is a tough tailback-type runner...will be in the mix for playing time in the one-back offense...carried the ball 16 times in the six fall scrimmages for 55 yards and a touchdown...one of the top backs in all three spring scrimmages, rushing for 145 yards and a touchdown...bench pressed 365 pounds by the end of spring practice.

2000 (Sophomore): Attended and competed with the Florida Atlantic program during its practice year as the Owls prepared for their first season of intercollegiate football.

1999 (Freshman): Attended Southern Illinois University where he played five games on special teams and made two tackles...earned Dean’s List honors.

High School: Played four years of football and wrestled for one season at South Dade...second-leading rusher in Miami-Dade County as a senior with 1,800 yards...also made 104 tackles with six interceptions as a defensive back...first-team all-county and second-team all-state recognition following that season...twice named the Buccaneers’ MVP...member of South Dade’s 1999 state championship wrestling team...coached in football by Don Drinkhahn.
