2016 (Sophomore): Appeared in 12 games for Panthers on the defensive line…Registered six total tackles, including five solo…Notched a tackle in five different games…Tallied a season-best two tackles at Old Dominion (11/26)…Collected first tackle of the season versus UCF (9/24)…Made season debut versus Indiana (9/1).

2015 (Redshirt Freshman): Appeared in six games for the Panthers...Recorded eight total tackles (six solo)...Made first-career start, recording a career-high three tackles at Marshall (11/14)...Had two tackles at Florida Atlantic (10/31)...Recorded two tackles versus Old Dominion (10/24)...Made FIU debut versus UTEP (10/10).

2014 (Freshman): Redshirted the 2014 season.

Plant City: Played for Head Coach Wayne Word at Plant City High School…a First-Team Associated Press All-State 7A selection…named a Tampa Tribune First-Team All-Western Conference selection…posted 17 sacks, 58 solo tackles, eight tackles for loss and 28 quarterback hurries his senior year…17 sacks during his senior year are a Plant City school record… was also a track athlete, competing in the 400- and 200-meter dash… winner of the Jan Hendricks Academic Award… participated in the Ron Turner Football Camp in Tampa.

Personal: Parents – John and Julie Broome…siblings – Johni and Jade’a…cousin, Ray Drew, is a defensive end at the University of Georgia…Majoring in recreation and sports management.
