2018 (SENIOR): Appeared in 13 games, starting all 13 at left guard… The four-year starter was a big anchor for an offensive line that only allowed a school-record low eight sacks all season, which ranked first in Conference USA and third overall in the nation… Budwig helped the FIU offense rank first points per game (34.6), total touchdowns (58), total points (450), third-down conversion percentage (46.8), and fourth-down conversion percentage (65.2)… His contributions on the offensive line helped fuel a run game that accounted for 175.8 rush yards per game and 27 total rushing touchdowns, both of which ranked third overall in C-USA… Budwig earned All-Conference USA Second Team honors for his sensational play… After his performance in the 2018 Bahamas Bowl, Budwig was named to the AP All-Bowl Team.

2017 (REDSHIRT SENIOR): Anchored the Panthers' offensive line, while appearing and starting in all 13 games for the Panthers... One of four Panthers to start all 13 games last season... Was a part of an offensive line that set single-season school records in passing yards (3,031) and first downs (269)... FIU gained 5,100 yards of total offense in 2017, which was just 37 yards shy of setting another school record... The Panther offensive line allowed just 29 sacks on the season, which was the second-lowest total since 2011 for the program... The Panthers earned the second-most rushing touchdowns (20) and yards (2,069) in school history, while earning nine games over the century mark as a team.

2014 (SOPHOMORE): Appeared and started all 12 games for the Panthers at left guard...Has made 24-straight starts... Helped FIU record 1,502 net rushing yards (4th-most in school history)…Led FIU’s offense to 125.5 net yards-per-game (5th-best average all-time at FIU)…FIU’s offense finished with 11 rushing touchdowns (10th-most in school history)…Named game captain at Old Dominion… Was part of an offensive line the helped FIU gain 350 yards-or-more of total offense four times...Helped the Panthers gain 144 yards on the ground and 231 through the air as FIU scored four offensive touchdowns versus Middle Tennessee (11/15)...Anchored a line that produced 256 yards on the ground (seventh-most in FIU history) at Old Dominion (11/8)...FIU’s offense recorded a season-high of 388 yards of total offense versus the Monarchs...Helped FIU tie a school record for rushing touchdowns (4) versus Florida Atlantic (10/2)...The Panthers’ offense produced a season-high 236 yards though the air versus Pittsburgh (9/13), including two passing touchdowns...Controlled the line of scrimmage as FIU amassed 377 yards of total offense (148 rush, 229 pass) versus Wagner (9/6).

2013 (FRESHMAN): Started all 12 of FIU’s games at the left guard position…in the season opener at Maryland (8/31), became the first FIU true freshman starter at offensive guard since Ceedrick Davis in 2010…Was one of 14 true freshmen in the country to start on its team’s offensive line in 2013.
