Biography

2010 (Redshirt Sophomore): Appeared in all 13 games, earning five starts on the defensive line… registered 17 tackles, nine of them unassisted and three for loss…had a season-high three tackles, including one for loss, in the regular season finale against Middle Tennessee (12/4)… matched his season high of three tackles in FIU’s victory over Toledo in the Little Caesars Pizza Bowl (12/26)… had two tackles apiece against WKU (10/9) and ULM (11/6).

2009 (Redshirt Freshman): Appeared in nine games, all as a reserve… had three stops against Rutgers (9/19)… made a season-best six tackles against Toledo (9/26)… had two tackles against ULM (10/3)… registered one tackle against Louisiana (10/31).

2008 (Freshman): Redshirted while working with the scout team.

Seabreeze High School: Named to the FSWA 4A All-State Second Team...Volusia County Defensive Player of the Year as a disruptive inside force...ranked second on the team with 65 tackles and picked off one pass to help lead Seabreeze to an undefeated regular season and a regional playoff appearance...named the East Defensive MVP of the Central Florida All-Star Game...also recruited by Middle Tennessee and Western Kentucky.

Personal: Born November 10, 1989...son of Eric King and Cassandrea Montgomery...major is undecided.
