2006 (Junior): Competed in six games, finishing with 19 tackles (11 unassisted) with 1.5 tackles for losses of two yards...tied a career high with six stops at South Florida (9/9)...picked up four tackles (three solo) and recovered a fumble in his lone start of the season at Miami (10/14)...collected three tackles in games against Bowling Green (9/16) and at Maryland (9/23).
2005 (Sophomore): A regular contributor to the defensive backfield who played in eight games on the season...finished with 19 tackles (nine solo) with five each in the season opener at Kansas State (9/3) and finale versus Middle Tennessee (12/3)...also recovered a fumble at KSU...picked up his first intercollegiate interception and returned it 82 yards for a touchdown against Florida Atlantic (11/26)?one of four interception returns for touchdowns that tied an NCAA I-A record that had stood since 1987...recorded four tackles at nationally-ranked Texas Tech (9/10) and had three stops in the win over Western Kentucky (11/19).
2004 (Freshman): True freshman who saw action in nine games, starting three times at safety...ranked among the top-10 on the squad with 40 tackles (21 solo)...in on 2.5 tackles for losses resulting in minus-8 yards...picked up a career-high eight stops against McNeese State (10/23)...recorded six tackles (five unassisted) and forced a fumble in a starting assignment versus Florida A&M (11/27)...against Western Kentucky (11/20), made six tackles (five solo) and an unassisted tackle for a loss of minus-6 yards...in his first career start at Louisiana-Monroe (10/16), registered five tackles (two unassisted), assisted on one tackle for a loss of 1 yard and broke up two pass attempts...also had five tackles in the season finale at Florida Atlantic (12/4) with an unassisted stop for a loss of one yard.
Durant High School: An all-around athlete who played four years of football, four years of basketball and two seasons of track...all-conference and team captain for football coach Mike Gottman...MVP of the UCF Football Camp...member of the all-academic team.
