2007 (Sophomore): Played in 10 games, primarily on special teams and as a reserve on defense...totaled 14 tackles, 12 solo, one tackle for loss, a pass breakup and a forced fumble...had three tackles on special teams, two on kickoff coverage and one on punt coverage...vs. North Texas (12/1): Had two solo tackles...vs. FAU (11/24): Recorded one solo tackle...vs. UL (11/17): Registered one assisted tackle...at Arkansas State (11/3): Played but did not record any tackles...at Arkansas (10/27): Registered one solo tackle...vs. Troy (10/6): Had one solo tackle...at Middle Tennessee (9/29): Had a season-high three solo tackles, including one for a loss of a yard and his first career forced fumble...at Miami (9/15): Made two solo tackles and broke up a pass...vs. Maryland (9/8): Played but did not record any tackles...at Penn State (9/1): Made three tackles, including two solo stops.

2006 (Freshman): Started the year on special teams but earned playing time at defensive end with starts against Arkansas State (9/30), at Alabama (10/28) and versus Louisiana-Monroe (11/11)...recorded 14 tackles (eight unassisted) over 11 games with a career-best four stops at Alabama...one of three solo stops against Bowling Green (9/16) went for minus-4 yards...tallied another tackle for a loss of four yards and a pass breakup against Miami...collected three tackles, returned a punt for 15 yards and blocked a punt that resulted in a 22-yard touchdown return by Cory Fleming versus Troy (12/2).

St. Augustine High School: Top tackler and team captain for the 2005 Class 3A state champion Yellow Jackets who finished with a 15-0 record for head coach Joey Wiles...over three varsity seasons, helped St. Augustine to a 33-4 record...piled up 149 tackles, which ranked third most in St. Johns County and following the season, earned third-team all-state honors...also named All-First Coast by the Florida Times Union, voted All-St. Johns River Conference and all-county...described as the second-best defensive player in the county by the St. Augustine Record...named Player of the Week by WAOL Radio after a 16-tackle performance in a 20-0 shutout over 6A Oviedo...played in the 2005 Shrine Bowl and was elected team captain by the south coaching staff...received St. Augustine’s Scholar Athlete Award from the Junior Orange Bowl Committee and the Bobby Goodwin Award for leadership, dedication and hard work at the Yellow Jackets’ team banquet...also participated in track and weightlifting...member of the 2003 St. Augustine state champion weightlifting team...qualified for 2006 state weightlifting finals and holds the school clean and jerk record for his weight class.
