2020: Played in all five of FIU's games in 2020, making four starts on the defensive line... Earned 13 total tackles in 2020, with six being solos... His 13 tackles ranked fourth on the team among defensive linemen... Also logged a pair of tackles for loss and a fumble recovery... His best game of the year came against FAU (11/13), as Curtis earned six tackles, 1.5 tackles for loss and a fumble recovery.
2019: Played in all 13 games for the Panthers, making nine-straight starts to begin the season... Finished the year with 30 tackles, which ranked 12th on the team and fourth among defensive linemen... Curtis earned 21 solo tackles, which ranked third among defensive linemen... Also posted 1.5 sacks, which accounted for his 1.5 TFLs, while earning four QB hurries... Curtis also earned a pass breakup and fumble recovery... Best game of the season came against Arkansas State (12/21) in the Camellia Bowl, after he earned six tackles and a half sack.
2018: Appeared in 13 games at defensive end, making 11 starts… Curtis recorded 49 total tackles throughout the season, including 22 solo tackles, 27 assisted, 3.5 tackles for loss, and 1.5 sacks… He also recorded one forced fumble and one quarterback hurry… Curtis’ ranked first among FIU defensive linemen in total tackles and assisted tackles, while ranking second in solo tackles… He also had the fourth-most total tackles of any player on the team and the third-most assisted tackles… Curtis had at least one tackle in every game of the season, include a season-high seven tackles versus Florida Atlantic (11/3) … Also had six tackles in a road win at Old Dominion (9/8) … Curtis was named to the Conference USA Honorable Mention Team following the season.
2017: Appeared in 11 games on the defensive line for the Panthers... Tallied 17 tackles including seven solo tackles... Recorded one QB hurry... Set a season-high record twice with four tackles against UCF and Marshall.Â

A three-star recruit according to 247Sports, Rivals, Scout.com and ESPN.com…Played for Head Coach Keith Hindsley at American Heritage B/D…Recorded a team-high 11 sacks and 73 total tackles, including 23 tackles for loss in 2016…Named a Palm Beach Post First-Team All-Area selection…Named a First-Team selection... Ranked No. 10 on the Palm Beach Post’s Class of 2017 Big Board and was a Super 11 selection during the fall of 2015…During his junior year, recorded 13 sacks, one blocked punt and one touchdown reception…Chose FIU over schools such as Alabama, Michigan, Florida, Florida State, Miami, Maryland, Minnesota, Arkansas and North Carolina.
