2014 (Sophomore): Did not see game action...Named to the 2014-15 C-USA Commissioner’s Academic Honor Roll (3.0 GPA-or-better).

2013 (Redshirt Freshman): Did not see action during the 2013 season.

Belen Jesuit: Joined the FIU football program as a walk-on in 2012...senior year team went 9-3 and advanced to the Class 6A State Regional Semifinals in 2011, after tying for the district title with Miami Central...2011 Miami Herald Class 8A-6A All-County Third-Team...played for Coach Richard Stuart...as a senior, caught seven passes for 214 yards (30.6 avg.) and three touchdowns...as a junior, team went 10-3, claiming the district title and advanced to the Class 6A State Regional Semifinals.

Personal: Parents - Norberto and Carmen Fernandez...sibling - Patricia...born Jan. 26, 1994...Majoring in accounting...began playing football in high school at age 16...was a member of the Key Club.
