2020: Played and started in four of FIU's five games in 2020... All starts came at tight end... Caught six passes for 53 yards on the year with a long of 12 yards... Best performance came at Liberty (9/26) to open the year, after catching three passes for 28 yarrds... Caught two passes for 16 yards against Middle Tennessee (10/10).

2019: Played in all 13 games for the Panthers at tight end, earning the starting nod four times... Hauled in 22 catches for 205 yards on the year... His 205 yards ranked fifth on the team and first among tight ends... His five-catch game against Arkansas State (12/21) in the Camellia Bowl was a career-high.

2018: Appeared in 13 games, making 10 starts for FIU… Compiled a total of 26 receptions, 279 receiving yards, and two touchdowns in his first collegiate season… Palmer had at least one reception in 11 of the 13 games he played in, including seven-consecutive games to start the season… He had the most receptions, receiving yards, and touchdowns of any tight end on the team... Palmer ranked fifth on the team in total receptions, receiving yards, and was fourth in total receiving touchdowns… He contributed to an offense that finished first overall in Conference USA in points-per-game (34.6), total touchdowns (58), total points (450), team passing efficiency (154.7), third down conversion percentage (46.8), and fourth down conversion percentage (65.2)… Palmer had a career-high 64 receiving yards in the Makers Wanted Bahamas Bowl and scored a touchdown to help FIU take a 14-10 lead before halftime… His 64 receiving yards were also a team-high in the game… His efforts in the Bahamas Bowl landed Palmer a spot on the ESPN All-Bowl Team... Palmer was also named to the Conference USA All-Freshman Team.

PREP CAREER: A versatile athlete that played wide receiver, tight end and defensive end... Played at Fork Union Academy (VA) in 2017, after logging three seasons at Benedictine College Preparatory in Richmond, Virginia... Rated as a three-star recruit coming out of high school... Played basketball in middle school. 

PERSONAL INFO: Father, Sterling Palmer Sr., played football at Florida State and was drafted in the fourth round of the 1993 NFL Draft by the Washington Redskins... Father played defensive line for the Redskins for five seasons.
