2025 CUSA Freshman of the Week

2025: Appeared in three games…ran for 123 yards and two touchdowns on seven carries…became the fourth FIU freshman to have multiple rushing TDs in a game and the first since Silas Spearman III on 10/5/13 @ Southern Miss…the 61-yard rushing TD in against Sam Houston State (11/29) broke the previous long rushing TD by an FIU freshman, a 26-yarder by Anthony Jones on 9/19/15 vs. NC Central.

Prep: Star running back at Miami Edison Senior High in Miami, Fla.…named First Team All-Dade in both junior and senior seasons…earned Third Team All-Dade honors as a sophomore…led Dade County in rushing as a senior…finished high school career with 4,586 rushing yards and 41 touchdowns.

Personal: Born Sterling Joseph on Oct. 14, 2006, in Miami, Fla.…parents Aliette Pierre-Joseph and Terry Joseph Jr.…siblings Terry Joseph III, Hilton Joseph, and Lexington Joseph…comes from a strong football family with Lexington, Terry, Hilton, and Ray Ray Joseph all having played college or professional sports…Majoring in Exploratory.
