2002 (Freshman): Despite suffering a broken leg during the fall of his redshirt season and moving from a strong safety to linebacker, still saw action in 10 games picking up five tackles (three solo)...a hard hitter who forced two fumbles, one of which helped fuel a come-from-behind victory over Albany (11/9).

Coral Gables High School: Played three years of football, ran four years of track and played two seasons of prep basketball while attending three different high schools...named Coral Gables’ track team’s Most Valuable Sprinter after a personal best 10.8 in the 100-meter dash...also voted Most Improved...in football, had 78 tackles as a senior with two interceptions...coached by Joe Montoya.
