Biography

2008 (Junior): Was one of just five Golden Panthers to start every game in 2008, earning the starting nod at left tackle...helped the offensive line lower its sacks allowed total from 32 to 27.

San Antonio College: Junior college standout who was named to the SoCal All-Combine Team between his freshman and sophomore seasons based on overall testing performance among the 400+ participants...also tested well at the Citrus Combine that summer where it was reported the he "handled some of the best defensive ends with ease, showing excellent footwork and very quick feet"...helped pass-oriented San Antonio to a 10-3 mark in 2007, including a streak of eight straight wins.

Personal: Born on June 17, 1985...son of Epati and Ruta Matavao...a sports management major.
