2005 (Redshirt): Gained experience working with the scout team...impressed coaches enough during the spring to be placed on the depth chart at the middle linebacker position.

Deerfield Beach High School: Played four years of prep football for head coach Greg Minnis...honorable mention 6A all-state selection...picked as Deerfield Beach's 2004 Defensive MVP and later was named as Broward County's North team MVP at the 8th Annual Sun-Sentinel/BCAA All-Star Football Classic...voted to the second-team all-county Large School Football Team of the Sun-Sentinel and Miami Herald...recorded 90 tackles last season...ranked No. 20 on the list of preseason Broward County football players by Miami-Hurricanes.com...also ran four years of track and played two seasons of baseball.
