As a Freshman (2004): Played in nine games for the Golden Panthers, making lone start of the season versus New Jersey Tech (9/24).

High School: A tri-sport athlete at nearby Felix Varela, playing four years of soccer, two years of volleyball and one year of badminton... A Second-Team All-Dade selection as a senior and two-time team MVP... As a senior, the team finished runner-up in both the district and region... As a junior, the Vipers won the district title and finished runner-up in the region... Played club soccer with the West Kendall United, finishing as the state runner-up in 2004... 2003 Super Y League national champions.

Personal: Born September 6, 1985, in Colorado... Son of Maria Elena Gonzales... Has two siblings, Mariana (24) and Carlos (10)... A business major.
