Biography

As a Junior (2004): Earned second-straight First-Team All-Atlantic Soccer Conference honors and was named to the 2004 NSCAA/adidas All-South Second Team... Finished with a team-high 19 points, on a team-high eight goals and three assists... Ranked third in the ASC in both points per game (1.06) and goals per game (0.44)... Key member of FIU’s offense that ranked second in the conference and 21st in the nation with 2.11 goals per game... Netted a pair of goals, including the game winner, versus nationally-ranked Hartwick (11/12) to help claim FIU’s third-straight ASC title and post a season-high four points... Shared conference Player of the Week honors (11/14) after that performance... Posted a three-game scoring streak from 11/5 through 11/12... Recorded a goal and an assist versus Alabama A&M (9/18) and at UCF (11/7)... Recorded a season-high six shots versus Oneonta State (10/8), finding the back of the net in the 10th minute... A starter in all 18 games... Named Offensive MVP at team’s year-end banquet.

As a Sophomore (2003): Played in and started 21 of FIU’s 22 games... Earned First-Team All-Atlantic Soccer Conference honors and was a team-best two-time ASC Player of the Week pick (9/7, 9/28)... Offensive MVP at both the FIU Soccer Invitational and FIU Classic... Received Top Newcomer Award by coaches at year-end banquet... Ranked fourth in the conference with 0.24 assists per game, sixth with 0.91 points per game and ninth with 0.33 goals per game... Finished second on the team with 19 points (7 goals, 5 assists) and tied for the team lead in total assists... Registered two multi-goal games ? netting two goals versus then-No. 10 Virginia Commonwealth (9/7) and another two, including the game winner, against UCF (11/9)... Had another four-point game versus James Madison (9/28) with one goal and two assists... Picked up his first goal for the Golden Panthers in the 77th minute versus La Salle (8/31)... Fed the ball to Allen Handy to get FIU on the board in the 47th minute versus UCF (11/21) in the first round of the NCAA Tournament.

At University of Mobile (2002): Played one year for the NAIA National Champion Rams... Saw action in 23 games... Recorded seven goals and three assists.

High School: Competed in soccer, track & field, basketball and table tennis... Member of Trinidad and Tobago’s under-17 and under-20 national teams... Anchored the country’s 4x100-meter relay... Earned many honors, including 1998 Tobago Zone Most Outstanding Athlete and Most Outstanding Performance in Football... Played with the under-14 champions in 1995 and was named Tobago MVP... Amateur experience includes time with the St. Clair Coaching School, Joe Public and Santa Rosa Football Clubs... Represented his nation in track & field at the 1998, 1999 and 2000 Carifta Games and in the CAC Games in Puerto Rico... Personal-best time of 10.4 seconds in the 100-meter dash.

Personal: Born May 7, 1982, in Scarborough, Tobago... Son of Lennox and Penelope Williams... Has a brother and a sister, Chavis and Cherysse, who are fraternal twins... A physical therapy major.
