As a Junior (2008): One of just three Golden Panthers to appear in every game and one of just two to start all 17 of them... led the team in minutes played with 1,539...took five shots, one of them on goal... helped the FIU defense hold five opponents to one goal or less.

As a Sophomore (2007): Appeared in 12 contests, making his first career start in the finals of the C-USA Championship Tournament against Tulsa (11/18)...Took one shot.

As a Freshman (2006): First-year performer who ended the year seeing action in 11 matches with a pair of shots...Involved on defense with three opponent shutouts.

High School: A tri-sport athlete, playing soccer for four years, football for three and track for one...The 2006 Sun-Sentinel All-Broward County pick who helped lead the Eagles to three straight district titles (2004-06)...As a senior, netted nine goals and had six assists en route to being selected to the Broward County Athletic Association (BCAA) All-Star Game...Won state titles with club team, Renegades Elite, in 2001 and 2004...Was also 2004 Sun Bowl champions, 2003 US club soccer regional champions and 2002 Super Y League national runner-up.

Personal: Born December 7, 1987, in Boston Mass...Full name is Marcos Cesar DeOliveira...Son of Marcos Cesar DeOliveira and Tania Maria Azevedo...Father played collegiate soccer at UMass...At Douglas, participated on the debate team in  2004-05...Also recruited by schools such as UCF and Radford...A sports management major, with aspirations of playing or working in professional soccer.
