High School: Played varsity soccer for four years, including the final three at Barron Collier... Helped the Cougars to the 2005 District 5A-13 title, earning Naples Daily News Player of the Year accolades... As a senior, was also named to the Florida Sports Writers Association Class 5A All-State First Team and the News-Press All-Area Team... Scored 10 goals and tallied 13 assists in 15 games as a senior, guiding Barron Collier into the region semifinals... Recorded 42 goals and 40 assists in three-year varsity career with the Cougars... 5A all-state first-team selection as a junior and was twice named both All-Collier County and all-region... Played for the adidas Elite 25 team, and was one of 136 high-school aged players ? including four FIU newcomers ? chosen from around the nation to participate in the 2005 adidas Elite Soccer Program... Also selected for the program in 2004... Club team, West Kendall, won the Under-18 boys Florida Youth Soccer Association state title in 2005... Played with both the U.S. Under-16 and Under-17 National Teams, and was named to the 2003 US Youth Soccer ODP Boys Thanksgiving Interregional adidas All-Star Team... As a freshman at nearby Felix Varela, competed in varsity soccer, track & field and cross country.
