Morten Timm

Morten Timm joined FIU Men's Soccer in August 2020 as a volunteer assistant coach, marking Timm's first year in the coaching ranks after spending the past three seasons as a student-athlete for the Coastal Carolina University men's soccer program.

Timm was a three-year starter for the Chanticleers backline from 2017-19, helping CCU to three Sun Belt Conference titles and three NCAA Tournament victories along the way. Following his senior season in 2019, Timm was named to the Sun Belt All-Conference Second Team. During his final season with CCU, Timm tied for the team-high in assists and finished third in the Sun Belt in total assists.

Prior to joining the Chanticleers in 2017, Timm spent his freshman season with USC Upstate as a member of the Spartan's men's soccer program.

Hailing from Thuringia, Germany, Timm is the son of Arne and Iris Timm and has one brother named Peer. Timm earned his Bachelor of Business Administration from Coastal Carolina University in 2020.
