2013 (Junior): Played and started in eight games in goal…Totaled 667 minutes in goal, including a season-high 110 minutes vs. South Carolina (10/30)…Allowed 1.48 goals per contest and tallied 23 saves, posting a record of 2-5-1…Made a season-high five saves vs. Jacksonville (9/22) and at Tulsa (11/3)…Did not allow a goal vs. Jacksonville and South Carolina.
 
2012 (Sophomore): Saw his first game action against FAU (10/30), combining with two other goalkeepers for his first combined shutout… Played 10 minutes in the contest. 
 
2011 (Freshman): Redshirt season.
 
Prior to FIU: Attended Belen Jesuit Prep in Miami, Fla.… Named to ESPN RISE All-Florida Team… Named First-Team All-Dade County in 2011, posting 16 shutouts… Had 29 career shutouts… Named team MVP and First-Team All-Dade County in 2011… District champions in 2010 and 2011… Regional champions in 2011 while making it to the state final four… He made Honor Roll all four years of high school.
 
Personal: Born February 20, 1993 in Miami, Fla.… Parents are Alberto and Christina Mion… Has three siblings; Gabriel, Diego and Marcelo… Enjoying fishing in his spare time… Plans to major in psychology.
