2019 (SOPHOMORE): Did not see game action. 

2018 (FRESHMAN): Appeared in all 17 games, making 10 starts… Spence recorded a total of two points in his first collegiate season, tallying a lone goal and no assists… He scored a critical seventy-ninth minute goal in a home win versus USF (10/23) to equalize the score and eventually send the match to overtime… Spence’s stellar play in the midfield helped the Panthers keep possession to create chances for teammates… He logged a total of 952 minutes on the year, which ranked second-most among FIU freshmen… Spence logged 90-or-more minutes in four different games throughout the season… The impressive midfielder was named to the Conference USA All-Freshman Team. 

PREP/CLUB CAREER: Attended Pembroke Pines Charter High School in Pembroke Pines, Florida ... Played his soccer fulltime with Weston FC in the U.S. Soccer Development Academy (USSDA) ... Played primarily as a central midfielder, Spence has helped guide the team to five shutouts on the year, while scoring a career-high two goals in 11 matches, including nine starts ... Helped the Weston FC U16 program to the Academy playoffs in Indiana in 2017.
 
PERSONAL: Is the son of Errol and Engrid Spence … Is majoring in business management at FIU … Was also recruited by Kentucky, Michigan and Georgetown, among others … Enjoys listening to music, gaming and fantasy sports in his spare time.
