2019 (SOPHOMORE): Appeared in 13 games, making five starts... Played a full 90 minutes against South Carolina (11/13) in the Conference USA Tournament Quarterfinals, helping FIU earn a 3-0 shutout victory and advance to the league semifinals... His solid defense in the backline helped FIU post a clean sheet performance against No. 10 Charlotte (10/18)... Logged a total of 504 total minutes throughout the 2019 campaign.

2018 (FRESHMAN): Appeared in all 17 games, making 14 starts… Rylander was a mainstay on the backline during his first season with FIU and helped anchor the Panther defense… He logged over 1,094 minutes on the season which ranked fourth-highest on the team and first among FIU freshmen… Rylander played 90-or-more minutes in seven different games throughout the 2018 campaign. 

PREP/CLUB CAREER: Comes to FIU after playing for Hammarby U19 in Stockholm.
 
PERSONAL: Is the son of Jakob and Katarina Rylander … Has one sister, Sofia … Is majoring in international business at FIU.
