2017 (Senior): Appeared in all 18 games, making three starts… He totaled four points, with one goal scored and two assists… His lone goal of the year came in the second half of the 5-0 shutout of North Florida (9/26)… Giovine received Conference USA InTouch Credit Union All-Academic honors.

2016 (Junior): Appeared in 18 games, making four starts … He totaled a career-high with six points (2g, 2a) and a one game-winner … Assisted Luis Betancur at No. 5 Charlotte with two seconds left in regulation to take the match into overtime in a 2-1 loss (9/24) … Giovine recorded points in three-consecutive games; he scored his first goal of the season during a 2-1 win at Marshall (10/15) and scored the game-winning goal in the following match during a 1-0 win against Florida Atlantic (10/21) … His second assist on the year came in the following match during the 2-0 win over UCF, assisting Joris Ahlinvi on the game-winner in the 72^nd minute (10/25) … He totaled 668 minutes on the year.

2015 (Sophomore): Made 10 appearances, with one start…Totaled four points, having two goals…Recorded four shots with a .500 shot percentage, and three SOG with a .750 SOG percentage…Registered his first career goal in a 2-1 win against Princeton (9/12)…Recorded his second goal of the season during a 5-1 win against Marshall (9/26)…Totaled 228 minutes. 

2014 (Freshman): Played in three games during his rookie season, averaging 21 minutes-per-game…Made first career appearance at Michigan State (8/31), playing nine minutes…Logged 31 minutes of action in the 2-1 victory at FGCU (9/24)…Assisted Quentin Albrecht’s goal at Old Dominion (11/7). 

Prior to FIU: Attended Lake Park High School where he helped his team to win the USYS 2010 and 2011 Regional, State and National Championships…Played for the Chicago Fire Academy…Recruited by Butler, Wake Forest, Colgate and George Washington.

Personal: Born in Roselle, Fla…Is the son of Salvatore and Rosa Giovine…Has an older brother, Pasquale…Plans on majoring international business at FIU…After college he plans on getting his master’s and eventually owning his own company…Enjoys playing video games and running in his free time.
