As a Freshman (2004): Saw action in three games for the Golden Panthers.

High School: Has played soccer for 13 years, including four years as a starter on the varsity team at nearby Killian... Team won the district title three times... Selected to the all-county team as a junior and senior, while also picking up honorable mention all-state honors as a senior... Named MVP at the All-Dade senior game and earned team MVP honors as a junior... Served as team captain, finishing prep career with 23 goals and 37 assists... A finalist for the Florida Wendy’s High School Heisman in 2004... Also played club soccer with the Plantation Premier Eagles, winning several titles including the 2003 Super Clubs National Championship.
