2016 (Senior): Appeared in 15 games, making six starts … Totaled 10 points (6g, 2a) and one game-winner … He scored his first goal at No. 5 Charlotte with two seconds left in regulation time to tie the match and take it to overtime in a 2-1 loss (9/24) … He scored the winning-goal with 14 seconds left in double overtime during a 2-1 win at Marshall (10/15) … During the 4-1 win at Old Dominion, Betancur scored the third goal of the match for the Panthers in the 75th minute and then assisted Jamar Campion-Hinds in the final goal six minutes later … He also assisted Joris Ahlinvi in scoring the game-winning goal during the 2-1 win over UAB (11/9) in the Conference USA Tournament quarterfinals … He totaled 615 minutes on the year … He was named to the C-USA All-Conference Second Team.

2015 (Junior): Made 16 appearances, starting in 12 games…Led the team with 19 points for the season, scoring nine goals and a single assist…Registered 26 shots, 14 SOG, and earned a .346 shot percentage and a .538 SOG percentage…Scored back-to-back game-winning goals, and totaled four winners for the season…In his first appearance of the season, he scored the game-winner against Fairfield (9/3) during his 32 minutes of game action…Scored a season-high three goals during a 7-2 win at Florida Atlantic (9/21)…Early in the season, he was named C-USA Offensive Player of the week (9/28) after notching the program’s first hat trick since 2005…Received All-C-USA second-team recognition, as well as All-Southeast Region Team recognition…Logged a total of 998 minutes.

2013 (Freshman): Saw 468 minutes of action during his freshman campaign…Played in 17 games, making four starts…Scored three goals and added an assist to accumulate seven points on the season…Was tied for third on the team in goals and was fifth on the squad in points…Scored his first career goal in a 5-3 victory at San Diego State (9/1)…Scored goals in back-to-back games at Princeton (9/27) and at Penn (9/29)…Notched first career assist in a 4-0 win over Marshall (10/6)…Played a career-high 68 minutes at FAU (9/14).
