Biography

2014 (Senior): Finishes his FIU career as the program’s ninth all-time leading scorer with 71 points in four seasons…Closed his career with the Panthers scoring 30 goals and adding 11 assists…Named a First Team All-Conference USA selection, voted by the coaches…Also was tabbed an NSCAA First Team All-South Region honoree for the first time in his career… Led C-USA in shots (66), while rounding out in the conference's top five in points (15) and finished in the top three in goals with eight…Scored his first goal of the season at East Tennessee State (9/16)…Followed that up with a two-goal effort in the overtime victory against No. 25 San Diego State (9/19), where he netted the game-winner on a bicycle kick, earning him C-USA Player of the Week honors…Tallied his second multi-goal game of the season vs. UAB (9/27), netting two in the loss…Two-goal effort against UAB began a streak of five games where he tallied at least one point, netting goals vs. South Carolina (10/8) and UCF (10/15), while assisting goals at Charlotte (10/11) and Marshall (10/25)…Closed his career scoring a goal at Old Dominion (11/7).

2013 (Junior): Was named to the C-USA Second Team for the second-straight year…Earned Third Team NSCAA All-South Region honors for the second consecutive year as well…Became the first FIU player since Carron Williams (2004-05) to earn NSCAA All-Region honors in back-to-back seasons…Played in all 17 games, making 16 starts…Tallied 16 points on the season, tying him for the team lead…16 points came on six goals and four assists…Recorded a goal and an assist in a game on three separate occasions…Ranked fourth in C-USA in shots, third in shots per game and ninth in goals per game…Two of six goals were game-winners…Tallied a goal and assist at San Diego State (9/1) in a 5-3 victory over the Aztecs…Notched another goal and assist in a 4-3 win at Florida Gulf Coast (9/7)…Scored goals in three consecutive games at Penn (9/29), vs. Marshall (10/6) and at New Mexico (10/12)…Scored the go-ahead goal at Kentucky (10/26) in a 4-1 victory.

2012 (Sophomore): Was named to the C-USA Second-Team… Named to TopDrawerSoccer.com National Team of the Week (11/4)… Started all 17 games he played in… Led the team in goals (10), points (23), shots (70), shots on goal (29), game-winning goals (3)… Added three assists… Led all forwards on the team in minutes with 1,529… His 10 goals and 23 points are the most by a Panther in a season since Matias Asorey netted 13 goals and had 29 points in 2002… Had an individual game high of five points against FAU (10/30)... Netted two goals three times (FAU; UNF, 8/31; Bryant, 8/24)… Had an individual game high of nine shots (six on goal) against UNF… He registered game-winning goals against Bryant, UNF and Wisconsin (9/7).

2011 (Freshman): Was named to the C-USA Third-Team and All-Freshman Team... Appeared in 17 games and started 15... Played a total of 1,255 minutes... FIU's leading scorer with five goals and two assists for 12 points... Took 44 shots and averaged 2.59 shots per game... Had 23 shots on goal and finished with a .523 shots on goal average... Reached an individual high of seven shot attempts against Georgia State (9/18).

High School/Club: Played for Wiesbaden U19 in Germany and was the top scorer with 25 goals.

Personal: Born June 4, 1991 in Bad Soden, Germany... Son of Carola Albrecht and the late Lorenz Albrecht... Has three siblings, Riccardo, Pamina and Cosima... Majoring in international business.
