2015 (Senior): Appeared and started in seven games…Allowed 11 goals, earning a 1.57 GAAvg…Recorded 18 saves of 62 shots faced, earning a .621 save percentage…Ended the season with a 4-3-0 record…Totaled 630 minutes.

2014 (Junior): Appeared in nine games, starting all of them...Posted a 4-5-0 overall record in those starts, making 23 saves while posting a GAA of 1.80…Logged 748 total minutes of action…Made one save in a 1-0 shutout at Michigan (8/29) to open the season…Made a season-high six saves in a 4-3 loss at Charlotte (10/11)…Made two saves in 2-1 win against UCF (10/15)…Posted back-to-back shutouts at Marshall (10/25) and against Florida Atlantic (10/29).

2013 (Sophomore): Appeared in one game, starting the season opener at Loyola Marymount…Played a full 90 minutes in that contest, making three saves.
 
2012 (Freshman): Was named to the C-USA All-Freshman team after starting all 18 games between the pipes… The Wipperfürth, Germany, native made 55 saves for a .679 save percentage and recorded a shutout in his first-career game against Bryant (8/24) while combining for two more against Jacksonville (9/2) and Florida Atlantic (10/30)… Logged 1,636 minute in the net… Had a season-high eight saves in a 1-1 tie at South Carolina (9/29)… Early in the season, he was named C-USA Defensive Player of the Week for the week ending on Sept. 9, 2012.  
 
Prior to FIU: Attended St. Angela Gymnasium in Wipperfürth, Germany (2008-11)… Played on Bergisch Gladbach (2009) and NRW-Liga (2007-12).
 
Personal: Born on September 8, 1991 in Wipperfürth, Germany… Son of Martina and Hans-Werner Spiegel… Has one sibling, Ronja… Plans to continue his soccer career after college.
