Sarah Weaver joined FIU in 2019 as a first-year graduate assistant athletic trainer for the men’s soccer.
Prior to FIU, Weaver worked as the athletic training student with the Indiana University men’s soccer team. She led the team when they became 2018 Big Ten Regular Season and Tournament Champions. Weaver also had the opportunity to travel with the team to their second consecutive appearance in the NCAA College Cup. In 2017, Weaver worked with the IU football team and traveled to the 2016 Foster Farms Bowl in San Francisco, California with the team.
A native of Johnsburg, Illinois, Weaver obtained her bachelor’s degree in athletic training from Indiana University in 2019. Weaver now resides in Miami and is currently pursuing her master’s degree in recreation and sports management at FIU and is set to graduate in 2021.
