Prior to FIU: Transferred from North Central Texas College... Hit .466 (76-of-163) with 12 home runs, 49 runs, 48 RBI, 21 doubles and two triples with 12 stolen bases his sophomore season... His .466 batting average was good enough for sixth in the country...  Hit .408 (69-of-169) with nine home runs, 42 runs, 49 RBI and 19 doubles as a freshman... Named NTJCAC First-Team All-Conference, All-Region and Honorable Mention All-American... Named JUCO Sophomore All-Star... Lettered for four years at Spring High School in Spring, Texas... Hit .494 with 15 home runs his senior season and was an all-district honoree.

Personal: Born on November 15, 1990 in Spring, Texas... Son of Stanley and Jolene Kirsch... Has two siblings; Bryan and Vanessa... While at North Central, he participated in team held clinics for local kids as well as volunteered his time reading to kids in local school in Cooke County... Enjoys working out and practicing in his spare time... Majoring in psychology.
