2011 (Sophomore): Hit .241 (47-for-195), finishing second on the team with 10 home runs with 42 runs and 34 RBI... Added 14 doubles and a triple while going 9-for-12 in the stolen base department... Finished tied for second on the team with 42 walks... Had 11 multi-hit games and seven multi-RBI games... Had a season-long eight-game hitting streak, good enough for eighth on the team... Played the majority of his games in left field (44) while starting 12 in right... Had a team-high nine total bases at UALR (4/22)... Had a team-high two sac flies against FGCU (5/3) and was hit by a pitch a team-high two times versus FAU (5/19)... Hit .265 (27-for-102) with six home runs, 26 runs and 20 RBI in conference action... Helped the East squad to a 48-37 victory in the Home Run Derby at the conference tournament with his 12 home runs... Went 1-for-4 with an RBI and two walks in the NCAA Regionals against James Madison and Maine... During summer ball in the Cape Cod League, he made the all-star squad as a member of the Harwich Mariners.

NCBWA First-Team (Outfield) Freshman All-American... PING! Baseball Third-Team (Outfield) Freshman All-American... Hit .311 (52-for-167) with a team-high 12 home runs... Played in 49 games, starting 53... Had 10 doubles, a triple and 47 runs scored... Drove in 51 runs... First on the team with a .599 slugging percentage... Fifth on the team with six stolen bases and 100 total bases... Had 14 multi-hit games and second on the team with 13 multi-RBI games... Homered in his first collegiate at-bat (2/20) on a 1-1 pitch off Maryland's Eric Potter for a three-run home run...  Named Louisville Slugger National Hitter of the Week, Collegiate Baseball Insiders National Player of the Week as well as College Baseball Foundation's "National All-Star Lineup" and Sun Belt Conference Hitter of the Week for the week ending March 13... In five games against Boston College and Rutgers, he hit .500 (9-for-18) with a 1.398 slugging percentage, hitting five home runs, two of which were grand slams, 17 RBI, nine runs scored and 25 total bases... Had a grand slam and a three-run shot against Boston College (5/10) for a career-high seven RBI... Hit three home runs in a doubleheader against Rutgers (3/13) going 4-for-9 with eight RBI... Had hitting streaks of 11, eight and six during the season... Started 40 games in left and three in right... Hit primarily out of the two-hole (32 games) while also batting 5th, 7th and 8th in the order... Stole a career-high two bases against Rutgers (3/14)... Led the team with five outfield assists... Scored a run in five-straight games (4/30-5/14)... Walked a career-high three times against New Orleans (4/17)... Had three or more RBI in a game five times... A strained muscle in his leg cost him playing time at the end of the season in the conference tournament and NCAA Regionals... Finished the season with a solo shot off Texas A&M's Barrett Loux, the No. 6 overall pick in the 2010 MLB first-year player draft, in a pinch-hitting role for his only at-bat in the NCAA Coral Gables Regional.
