Biography
Junior -- 2010-11: Finished sixth in the 1 Mile Run at the Sun Belt Conference Indoor Championships with a time of 4:19.57... Teamed with Jason Oliver, Michael Bejarano and Pedro Bigorra to finish second (10:26.91) in the Distance Medley at the SBC Indoor; the performance earned the quartet All-Sun Belt Conference honors.
Sophomore -- 2009-10: Posted 4:22.68 in mile run and 9:13.09 in 3000m run at the Great Dane Classic (1/22)...ran the 3000m run in 9:07.87 at Jimmy Carnes Invitational (1/31)
Cross Country: Finished 25th at the SBC Championships with a time of 29:01.76.
Outdoors: Time of 9:24.52 in the 3,000-meter steeplechase at the Sun Belt Championships ranked sixth for the season among the league's top finishers...also posted a top-10 finish in the 1500M run with a time of 4:00.56 at the SBC Championships. Indoor: Finished sixth place in the men's mile (4:20.17) at the Sun Belt Championships
Freshman -- 2008-09: Named the Sun Belt Cross Country Freshman of the Year - the first ever for FIU - finishing 14th at the conference championship (26:12.89).
Prep Career: At Flanagan High, ran the mile in 4:22; ran 2 mile in 9:31; 5K in 15:27 and the 800 in 1:58.03. Miami Herald Athlete of the Year in Cross Country. Ran Cross Country, track and played soccer at Flanagan.
Personal: born April 11, 1990...majoring in international business and management...recruited by South Florida, Florida Atlantic, Miami and Florida.
