2017-18 (Redshirt Junior): Played and started in 28 games for the Panthers, averaging 30.2 minutes per contest… Earned a team-high 10 double-doubles on the year, which was the highest season total for Pound in her career and the most for any FIU player since 2014-15… Ranked second on the team in scoring average, after earning 12.9 points per contest… Topped the Panthers for rebounding average, after hauling in 8.9 rebounds per game… Ranked sixth in the C-USA for rebounds per game… Posted a stellar game against Marshall (Jan. 7), scoring a season-high 21 points and nabbing a career-high 19 rebounds in the process.
 
2016-17 (Redshirt Sophomore): Sixth on the team with a 6.1-points scoring average, but led the squad with 5.1 rebounding average... Second on the team with 15 blocks... Turned in a pair of double-doubles, with 13 points and a season-high 14 rebounds in a home win over Robert Morris on 11/27 and 12 points and 11 rebounds on 2/9 at Rice... Season-high in scoring came in final game of the season, with 18 points against UAB on 3/4... Led the team in scoring twice (0-2 record)... Scored in double-figures seven times (1-6 record)... Led in rebounding 12 times (1-11 record).

2015-16 (Medical Redshirt): Took the year off from basketball to have her daughter, did not play.

2014-15 (Redshirt Freshman): C-USA Freshman of the Year … member of the C-USA All-Freshman team … six-time C-USA freshman of the week … played in 29 games, starting in 23 of them … led the team in scoring and ranked 11th in the league with 14.8 points-per-game ... produced 22 double-digit scoring performances … tallied a career-high 29 points at Florida Atlantic (1/24/15) … finished the year second on the team and 12th in the conference with 7.0 rebounds-per-contest … also ranked third in the league with 3.5 offensive boards-per-game … was second on the squad with eight double-doubles … led the team shooting 41.7 percent from the field … tied for third on the squad with 18 steals (0.6 spg) … grabbed a career-high 15 rebounds against Cleveland State (11/23) … also shot 50.0 percent (9-of-18) and 100.0 percent (6-of-6) from the free throw line versus the Vikings … had a .500 or better field goal percentage 10 times (last vs. RV WKU on 2/28) … led the team with a 41.7 field-goal percentage, second on the team with 19 blocks (0.7 bpg) and tied for third on the team with 18 steals (0.6 spg) … finished the season with 20 assists (0.7 apg) … produced a career-best four steals versus UAB (1/11) and a career-high five blocks at Middle Tennessee (3/5).

2013-14 (Freshman): Redshirted, did not play.
 
Prep - A four-year letterwinner and basketball and two-year letterwinner in track and field at Sebastian River High School … led the Sharks to four district titles and regional and 7A state championships in 2012 … a three-time MVP … averaged 18.7 points, 10.8 rebounds, 2.5 steals, 2.1 assists, and 1.7 blocks per game for her career … earned 7A FACA All-State Team recognition (2012-13) … named to the 7A All-Academic Team honors in 2012 … a First Team Treasure Coast selection (2010-13) … earned All-State FABC Baker’s Dozen recognition in 2012 … picked up a Team Defensive Player of the Year nod  in 2010 … tabbed Student of the Month in 2012 … has club experience with Central Florida Elite and the Lady Comets.

Personal - Daughter of Andre and Katina Pound … Welcomed a daughter, Kynsley, in March, 2016... has two siblings: Andre and Ka’Lynn … her brother, Andre, was a member of the football team at FIU … her cousin, Brittany Jackson, currently plays basketball at Georgia Tech … her uncle, Leon Freeman, was a member of the Baylor football team … enjoys modeling, shopping, reading, and hanging out with friends and family … plans to major in accounting with aspirations to become an accountant.
