Biography

As a Junior (2013): Appeared in 17 games for FIU, racking up 15 starts in 1,291 minutes of action... Anchored the Panthers’ backline, while accumulating seven shots on goal.. A free-kick in overtime again LA Tech ultimately boosted the Panthers to victory... Put up three shots against North Texas in the Conference USA Championship
 
As a Sophomore (2012): Notched 9 shots on goal... appeared in all 21 games
 
As a Freshman (2011): Appeared in 13 games for the Panthers and made her first career start on 10/28 in a victory over FAU…Recorded two shots. Saw action as a substitute in the opening round of the NCAA tournament against UCF on 11/11.
 
Prior to FIU: Earned varsity letters all four years in high school... played for the Concorde Fire Elite, which earned the Final Four Soccer Championship and were also State Cup Finalists.
 
Personal: Born March 19, 1993... Daughter of Juan Miguel and Maria Hernandez... Has two brothers, Christian and Matthew... Majoring in dietetics with aspirations to work in a medical facility... Her father, Juan, played professional baseball in the Detroit Tigers organization... Also recruited by North Florida, Jacksonville, Georgetown, Belmont and South Carolina.
