FIU Athletics

2018 (Freshman): Played in 16 games while getting the starting nod seven times...Logged 640 minutes during the 2018 season...Had a season-high 80 minutes against North Texas (Oct. 21) while taking one shot on goal.

Prep: Led Newsome High School to a district championship in all four seasons with the squad, winning regionals in 2015 and 2016… Earned All-Conference honors for Hillsborough country… Selected to the East-West Hillsborough All-Star game, competing for the east side… Scored 30 goals as a senior at Newsome.

Academics/ Community Service: Majoring in international business at FIU… Volunteers with autism awareness camp and participates in food drives.

Personal: Born in St. Petersburg, Florida… Attended Newsome High School in St. Petersburg, Florida, where she graduated in 2018… Daughter of Spencer and Komechia Harris… Has one older brother, Braxton… Her cousin, Marcus Gilchrist, plays in the NFL… Chose FIU because of the location and academics… Knows how to play the alto saxophone… Describes herself as cool, calm and collective… The biggest influence on her career was her father… Enjoys playing basketball outside of soccer.
