FIU Athletics

Nika Salemi overseas all operational activities for the FIU Men's Soccer, Women's Soccer, Swimming & Diving, Tennis, Golf, Baseball, Softball, Indoor Volleyball, Beach Volleyball, Men’s and Women’s Cross Country and both Men’s and Women’s Indoor and Outdoor Track & Field Teams

Salemi oversees and tracks the operational budgets for all 14 of her programs. She facilitates purchasing and monthly reconciliation for all expenditures. She also coordinates travel arrangements and logistics for all team and recruiting activities, including hotel contracts, land and air transportation, and meal facilitation. Additionally, Salemi acts as a team liaison for home events on game days.

Salemi rejoined the FIU Athletics program as the Director of Operations for the FIU Golf, Tennis and Track & Field/Cross Country teams in September of 2010. She added the remaining programs to her responsibilities between 2013-2019. Previously, Salemi functioned as the Senior Operations Assistant for FIU Football during the 2007-2010 seasons.

Salemi received her undergraduate degree from FlU, earning a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management in 2014. She received her Master’s in Recreation and Sport Management in 2017.
