Biography

2006: One of only four golden panthers to start and play in all 17 games...scored an unassisted goal in the season opener against Samford (8/25)...took eight shots on goal and was credited with an assist on Marina Pappas’s goal against UCF (8/27).

2005: Made 10 starts while appearing in 15 matches...took six shots over five-straight matches from Sept. 18 through Oct. 9...season-high two shots came during the Golden Panthers’ 1-1 tie against Sun Belt Conference foe Arkansas State (10/2).

2004: Missed the season due to injury.

 

Prior to FIU: An All-Miami-Dade selection as a sophomore and junior at Felix Varela, playing with Kristin Hurst...Silver Knight recipient in 2002-03, which is awarded to outstanding students who have not only maintained good grades, but who also unselfishly apply their special knowledge and talents to contribute significant service to their school and community...member of district champion and regional finalist prep team as a senior and won a conference title as a junior...also played badminton in high school.

 

Personal: Born July 21, 1986...criminal justice major...daughter of Phillip and Sandra Chong.
