Prior to FIU:  A four-year letterwinner in volleyball at Chaminade-Madonna College Prep in Hollywood, Fla. … Also played basketball as a senior … Earned first team all-county accolades in 10^th grade and second team all-county honors in her final two seasons … A recipient of the Coach’s Award in ninth grade … Led Chaminade to a pair of district  titles and one regional championship … A member of the South Florida Volleyball Club … An excellent student, belonging to the National Honor Society, National Spanish  Honor Society and National Science Honor Society … Also involved with Mu Alpha Theta, student government, Eucharistic ministry and student ambassadors … Earned first honors three times and second honors on one occasion … A four-time Top 10 Award recipient.
