Mother, Gladys, played four years of college volleyball at University of Puerto Rico Mayaguez Campus and spent one year in the professional ranks in Puerto Rico ... She also served a one-year stint on the country's Olympic Team, competing in the Centroamerican Games in Medellin, Columbia, in 1978 ... Enjoys going to the beach, movies and attempting to surf ... A sports management major with aspirations to study physical therapy upon graduation.
