2016 – BEACH (FRESHMAN)
Went 1-2 overall…partnered with Gloria Levorin (1-0), Anabela Sataric (0-1) and Katie Hogan (0-1)…competed at No. 2 position (0-1), No. 3 position (0-1) and No. 5 position (1-0)…defeated UNO’s Camila Lau/Milica Zmiric (21-13, 21-12) at the Tiger Beach Challenge in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

2015 – INDOOR (FRESHMAN)
Played in all 28 matches, starting 26 of them…led the team in assists with 639 (6.66 a/s)…second on the team in service aces with 20 (0.21 sa/s)…second in double-doubles (8)…third in digs with 216 (2.25 dig/s)…posted 49 kills and eight total blocks…set a career-high 42 assists against North Florida (8/28/15).
 
PRIOR TO FIU
Attended Mennonite Biethren Collegiate Institute in Manitoba, Canada … was the No. 1 ranked player in Manitoba voted by a coaches poll in 2014 … garnered the Mike Burchuk Graduating Female MVP in 2014 … 18u National Champion for the Cobras Volleyball Club in 2014 where she won the MVP … MVA Player of the Year (2012, 2013, 2014) … won the AA Varsity Players Choice Award in 2011 … a four-time Manitoba Provincial Beach champion and a high school JV Beach Champion (2014, 2013, 2012) … placed third at the Youth Olympic Qualifier ID Selection Camp in 2013 … won a bronze medal at the 18u Beach Nationals (as a 15u player) in 2012 … placed fourth at the 16u Beach Nationals (2011) … won two National Golds, two National Silvers, Six Provincial Indoor Golds and Seven Provincial Beach Golds … also lettered in basketball.

Born in Niverville, Canada … daughter of Rick and Bonny Friesen … youngest of three children, brother Patrick (23) and sister Julia (20) …  hobbies include wakeboarding, snowboarding and hanging out with friends and family … plans to major in international business.
