Junior (2007): Compiled double-digit digs in eight matches, including a career-high 18 against Idaho (8/25)...led team with 2.61 digs per game on the year, and was third with 0.39 service aces per game... ranks fourth at FIU during the rally scoring era (2001-present) in career aces (91)... made eight starts in 24 matches played, mostly out of the libero position.
Sophomore (2006): Moved from outside hitter to defensive specialist... started 25 of 32 matches played... posted three matches with double-digit digs, including a season-high 11 in a 3-0 win over North Texas (10/6)... ranked sixth on the team with 175 digs and 1.56 per game... served a season-high three aces in matches against Northern Arizona (9/9) and Western Kentucky (10/13)... collected her 300th career dig in the second match against Western Kentucky (10/27).
Freshman (2005): Played 88 games in 26 matches, including 14 starts as the only freshman on the team... led team and tied for Sun Belt lead with 0.48 aces per game (42 total)... also led the conference with 0.54 aces per game in Sun Belt matches... ranked sixth on team in both digs per game (1.86) and kills per game (1.20)... pounded double-digit kills on four occasions and collected her first career double-double with 10 kills and 15 digs in FIU’s crucial 3-2 come-from-behind win against Arkansas State (11/11)... tied for a team season-high with six aces against South Alabama (10/14)... also served five aces at eventual Sun Belt champions Western Kentucky (10/7)... academically, tied for the highest GPA on the team during the fall semester.
Prior to FIU: Team MVP in 2004 for Elisaveta Bagriana... helped lead her first club team, AIS Shumen, to second place in the Bulgarian Championship and was named MVP with the junior team in one tournament... later went on to play with the junior team of Levski, claiming second place once again in the Bulgarian Championship... the season prior to coming to FIU, competed with Levski’s women’s team and won the Cup of Bulgaria while placing second in the league.
Personal: Born April 10, 1987, in Shumen, Bulgaria... daughter of Nedyalko Drumev and Milena Drumeva... has one sister, Stefani (8)... enjoys hiking and swimming... dean’s List student with a major in international studies who was a member of the 2007-08 Sun Belt Conference academic Commissioner’s List.
