FIU Athletics

Castillo joined the FIU staff on April 2019 where he serves as a Coordinator of Sports Operations for Indoor VB, Beach VB, Softball. He is responsible for team recruiting travel logistics, completing cost projections and monitoring the fiscal year budget for all three sports. 

He began his career in sports as a volunteer for the FIU football program in 2017. He completed  his internship in May 2018 and worked as a part-time employee until April 2019.

A Miami native, he received his Bachelor’s Degree in Sports Management from The University of Florida in 2018 and completed his Master’s Degree in Legal Studies, concentrated in Sports Law and Business from Arizona State University in 2019
