Neal Stepp joined FIU in May 2018 and works as a Doctoral Certified Athletic Trainer for the women’s indoor and beach volleyball teams.
During his first year with the Panthers, Stepp was a part of the indoor volleyball team that posted a 19-12 record which is the programs best season since 2011. The team would go on to play their first C-USA Conference Championship final but fell short of the win.
Prior to FIU, Stepp served as the Head Athletic Trainer for the Clinton Central School Corporation in Michigantown, Indiana.
A cum laude graduate of Indiana Wesleyan University, Stepp earned his bachelor’s degree in athletic training and served the indoor volleyball team during his senior year.
A native of Indianapolis, Indiana, Stepp now resides in Doral and enjoys traveling home to see his younger sister, Nickolette.
