FIU Athletics

Junior (2007): Saw action in seven games during five matches, averaging 1.29 digs per game... recorded an ace in the team’s win over Stetson (9/8)... also collected a season-high five digs against the Hatters... recorded first career block assist versus Troy (9/28).

Xavier (2005-06): Played 21 games in 11 matches as a sophomore, averaging 1.67 digs per game... collected a career-high 11 digs against UC-Santa Barbara (9/9/06)... played three games in three matches as a freshman.

Prior to Xavier: Three-year starter as a defensive specialist and outside hitter for Our Lady of Lourdes Academy...voted MVP by her teammates her senior year...garnered honorable mention honors in Dade County her junior and senior seasons.

Personal: Born October 13, 1986... daughter of J.C. and Emily Romano... marketing major who was a member of the 2007-08 Sun Belt Conference Academic Honor Roll.
