Box Score MONROE, La. (AP) -- Darrell McNeal scored three touchdowns and Kinsmon Lancaster threw for 237 yards to lead Louisiana-Monroe to a 28-14 homecoming victory over Florida International on Saturday.
McNeal had seven catches for a career-high 120 yards for the Warhawks (2-5, 2-2 Sun Belt), including touchdown passes of 14 and three yards from Lancaster. McNeal also ran in a score from 13 yards out.
Lancaster, coming in on the game's fourth series after redshirt freshman Trey Revell's first start, completed 15 of 20 passes.
Florida International (0-7, 0-3) opened the scoring with a 23-yard touchdown run by Julian Reams.
Lancaster's and McNeal's first touchdown tied the game at 7-7 with 11:55 left in the second quarter; their second, with 51 seconds left, giving the Warhawks a 14-7 halftime lead.
Calvin Dawson tied a school career rushing touchdown record at 22 with a nine-yard run in the third quarter. He had 128 yards on 19 carries; his 15th career 100-yard rushing game and the 11th in the past 12 outings.
FIU pulled within a touchdown early in the fourth quarter on a 19-yard pass from Wayne Younger to Zap Hawkins with 13:35 left.
McNeal lined up at quarterback and broke a couple of tackles on his winning 13-yard run.

DB Lionell Singleton's 27-yard punt return was the longest of the season for the Golden Panthers and the longest by FIU since a 30-yard punt return against Louisiana-Lafayette on Nov. 18, 2006. Singleton accounted for 170 return yards for the Golden Panthers on five kickoff returns and one punt return His kickoff return totals moved him into first place on the kickoff return yards list at FIU with 894. For the season, Singleton has returned 17 kicks for 400 yards (23.5/return). He now needs 85 more yards on returns this season to become FIU's all-time leader in total return yards.
