Lucas Di Croce Scores in Loss to Kentucky

Box Score LEXINGTON, Ky. (October 21, 2012) – Senior Lucas Di Croce found the net for the first time this season in a 5-1 loss to the Kentucky Wildcats at UK Soccer Complex in Lexington, Ky.

At the 87' mark in the match, Di Croce bent a free kick into the upper 90 to prevent the Kentucky shutout. The Wildcats (8-6-1, 3-1-1) proved to be too much for the Panthers to handle Sunday night as Dylan Asher registered a hat trick for Kentucky. Di Croce had two shots in 41 minutes of action.

Junior Roberto De Sousa recorded a team-high three shots (one on goal) in 57 minutes played. Freshman goalkeeper Robin Spiegel notched a career-high six shots. Sophomore
Quentin Albrecht and freshman Daniel Gonzalez also had shots in the game.

The Panthers (7-5-2, 0-4-1 C-USA) will now head to Huntington, W.Va. to face Marshall on Tuesday, Oct. 23, at 7:00 p.m.
