MIAMI (Feb. 5, 2016) – The FIU women's tennis team (1-1) travels to DeLand, Fla, to take on the Stetson Hatters (1-1) on Saturday, Feb. 6. First serve is set for 2 p.m. from the Mandy Stoll Tennis Center.
The Panthers are coming off a 4-3 loss to Troy on Friday, Jan. 29. Up 3-1 with three singles matches to go, FIU could not hold on, for the team's first loss of the season.
FIU will look to rebound from the tough home-opening loss as the Panthers face the Hatters for the 24
th time. The Panthers hold an 18-5 edge in the series history. The last meeting between the two programs resulted in a 4-3 win for the Panthers on Jan. 30, 2015.
