MIAMI (Feb. 25, 2017) – The FIU women's tennis team (7-1) earned the program's 500th win all-time with a 4-0 victory over the Stetson Hatters (0-7) on Saturday afternoon from the FIU Tennis Courts.

Saturday marked the team's third-straight shutout of an opponent and fifth-straight win. Ranked No. 38 in the latest Oracle/ITA Women's Tennis Rankings, Saturday was FIU's third-straight win over the Hatters and the eighth in the last nine meetings with the team from DeLand.
