Â
Hinton comes to Miami after three seasons, including two as recruiting coordinator with the Southern New Hampshire University Penmen.
Â
"It is great to be able to join a growing program and see how it takes shape," said Hinton. "I am excited to be a part of culture creation with a new, young staff with a group of young players and the energy that they all bring."
Â
Hinton completed a Master's in Business Administration, with a concentration in Athletic Administration, her second postgraduate degree, while spending three years in Manchester, New Hampshire.

"Aly is able to understand both perspectives - from being a student-athlete and her experience as a coach," said Malcom of her new hire. "She will be a huge help in knowing what everyone's needs are and anticipating events and situations that normally pop up in our daily operation."
Â
Her position at SNHU was her first in college coaching. Prior to that, Hinton played four years of professional basketball in Israel from 2010-2014, winning the Israeli League Championship, the Israeli Cup and Eurocup Championship in her first pro season and capturing in the championship in the Israeli First Division in her final season overseas.
Â
As an undergraduate, Hinton played for Boston University, earning a B.A. in Psychology in three years and a Master's in Education after her last year of eligibility at BU. She scored over 1,000 points and collected more than 700 rebounds in her career as a Terrier.
Â
Hinton has moved to Kendall, plans to pick up golf and plans to take advantage of living in South Florida with more trips to the beach during downtime.
