National TV Dates Announced for FIU Women's Hoops

FIU has three in-state showdowns to be aired on national TV


IRVING, Texas (Oct. 16, 2018)) – Nearly 40 Conference USA women's basketball games are scheduled to air across three nationally televised or digital platforms throughout the 2018-19 season, per the league's initial broadcast slate announced Tuesday.

FIU's home season opener against Miami on Tuesday, Nov. 6 at 7:00 p.m. ET will air on ESPN +, while both of FIU's contests against Florida Atlantic on Saturday, Jan. 26 at 2 p.m. ET and Saturday, Feb. 23 at 2 p.m. ET will also air on the network.

National games will be featured on partners CBS Sports Network, Stadium and ESPN. All regular-season matchups will be streamed on ESPN+, the first multi-sport, direct-to-consumer subscription streaming service from The Walt Disney Company Direct-to-Consumer and International Segment in conjunction with ESPN. Additional coverage will be available through CUSA.tv, the conference's official streaming website.
 
CBS Sports Network will showcase the 2018 C-USA Women's Basketball Championship final. Tip time for the women's title game on Saturday, March 16, is 5:30 p.m. ET/4:30 p.m. CT from Ford Center at The Star in Frisco, Texas.
 
Stadium will broadcast a pair of quarterfinal matchups on Thursday, March 14, and the league's two semifinal games on Friday, March 15. ESPN+ will host the tournament's first round on Wednesday, March 13, along with the remaining two quarterfinal contests the following day.
 
The schedule features a 29-game increase from 2017-18's initial broadcast lineup with games appearing on ESPN+ for the first time.

The 2018-19 season will commence on Tuesday, Nov. 6 as the Panthers host Miami at the Ocean Bank Convocation Center.
