BOWLING GREEN, Kentucky (Oct. 5, 2018) – The FIU women's soccer team fell to WKU on Friday night, as the Hilltoppers posted a 4-0 victory over the Panthers.

WKU improved to 3-7-2 overall and 1-4-0 in C-USA play, while the Panthers fell to 0-13-1 and 0-4-1. 

The Hilltoppers scored twice in the first half at the 19-minute mark to enter the locker room with a 2-0 lead, before coming out of the break to add two more goals in the 45th and 55th minute to put the match out of reach for the Panthers.

FIU had six different players tally one shot, while goalie Christina Velazquez finished the contest with five saves.

FIU will have Sunday off, before returning home on Thursday, Oct. 11 to host Middle Tennessee at 7 p.m. ET>
