MIAMI (Nov. 19, 2018) – FIU women's tennis head coach Katarina Petrovic, announced on Monday morning the signing of Matea Mamic a native of Split, Croatia.

Mamic was a member of the Junior U18 Croatian National Team. She reached the U18 semifinals in 2018 and was a National Champion in 2017.
 
 "Matea is joining the FIU family at a great time," said head coach Katarina Petrovic. "She is ready to help and start competing for us."
 
Mamic joins FIU as a new member and will begin competing with the Panthers this spring. She is set to appear on the court on January 11^th when the blue and gold host Wisconsin and Iowa State for the FIU Invitational.
